Tasmanian Devils are neutral mobs that can be found in Forest biomes.
Behavior[]
Tasmanian Devils will fight back if the player attacks one and will attack in groups by aggressively biting their target.
Tasmanian Devils will hunt a variety of small mobs, including Rabbits and Chickens.
Tasmanian Devils are often seen resting.
Tasmanian Devils can chew dropped Bones to transform them into several pieces of Bone Meal.
Howling[]
A Tasmanian Devil can be fed Rotten Flesh to give it red eyes and make it howl.
Upon doing so, any nearby hostile mobs will run away.
Breeding[]
Tasmanian Devils can be bred with any form of Meat (except Rotten Flesh).
Feeding two Tasmanian Devils some form of Meat causes them to enter love mode and eventually one of the Tasmanian Devils will spawn a baby Tasmanian Devil.
Trivia[]
- The Tasmanian Devil is one of four mobs to be a marsupial, with the others being the Dropbear, Kangaroo and Sugar Glider.
- Strangely, Tasmanian Devils can scare off Giants, which are mobs with no AI, but still run away from a Tasmanian Devil's howling.

"Tasmanian Devils are small, diminutive marsupials rarely found in temperate forest biomes. These creatures can be identified by their black and white coats and strange growls. They can often be seen sitting or basking when in groups. When attacking their favorite prey of Rabbits or Chickens, all nearby Tasmanian Devils will join in on the hunt. These creatures, despite their size, will defend themselves from any attackers. If fed their favorite food of Rotten Flesh, the Tasmanian Devil will unleash a howl that can scare away all nearby monsters for a short time. These angry little creatures cannot be tamed, but they can be bred with any meat." |
