Name Tag Secrets

This mod adds new secret things that happen when one of the Mobs from the mod is given a specific name using a Name Tag.

Most of the time, this specific name can be just a part of the mob's complete name and still works.

Below is a list of all known Name Tag Secrets for various Mobs. Keep in mind that this is likely not all the secrets as many more could exist.

Roadrunner

• Naming a Roadrunner "Meep" or "Meep Meep" will give it a skin based off of the iconic Roadrunner from Looney Tunes.
  • This is the only Name Tag Secret to change the mobs behavior as it will make the Roadrunner run a lot faster along with replacing the ambient sounds.
  • "Meep Meep" Roadrunners can also spawn naturally if the Super Secret Settings are enabled in the config.

Crocodile

• Naming a Crocodile "King", "Rool", "Crown" or "King K Rool" will give it a crown in reference to the character King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong franchise.

Gorilla

• Naming a Gorilla "Harambe" will give it a halo above its head in reference to the deceased real-life Gorilla, Harambe.
• Naming a Gorilla "Donkey Kong" or "DK" will give it a skin based off of Donkey Kong.
• Naming a Gorilla "Funky Kong" will give it a skin based off the character Funky Kong from the Donkey Kong franchise.

Komodo Dragon

• Naming a Komodo Dragon "Coda" or "Maid" will make it wear maid clothes. Likely a reference to the Lusty Argonian Maid, a book and subsequent meme from the game Skyrim.

Warped Toad

• Naming a Warped Toad "Pepe" will give it a skin based off of the Pepe the Frog meme, more specifically Pepe the Frog wearing a Tuxedo.

Raccoon

• Naming a Raccoon "Rigby" will give it a texture based off of Rigby from the cartoon series, Regular Show.

Seal

• Naming a Seal "He was" or "He was forced to" will give it a crying face and the background of its name will become white.

Mungus

• Naming a Mungus "Drip" will give it shoes as a reference to the Among Drip meme.

Guster

• Naming a Guster "Tweester" will give it cartoony eyes in reference to Tweesters from the Paper Mario franchise.

Platypus

• Naming a Platypus "Perry" or "Perry the Platypus" will give it a skin based off of the character Perry the Platypus from the animated cartoon series, Phineas and Ferb.
  • While this only makes the Platypus blue and possess an orange bill and tail, the look can be completed by equipping it with a Fedora item.

Kangaroo

• Naming a Kangaroo "Roger" will give it a halo above its head in reference to the deceased real-life Kangaroo, Roger.

Frilled Shark

• Naming a Frilled Shark "Kamata-kun" or "Kamata Kun" will give it a yellow-colored skin based off of the Kamata Kun monster from the Godzilla franchise.
  • This Name Tag Secret exists because Kamata-kun's design was based off of a Frilled Shark.

Seagull

• Naming a Seagull "Wingull" will give it a skin based off of the Pokémon Wingull.

Toucan

• Naming a Toucan "Sam" or "Toucan Sam" will give it a skin based off the cereal mascot, Toucan Sam.

Maned Wolf

• Naming a Maned Wolf "Plummet", "Plummet Studios", "Ender" or "Ender Maned Wolf" will give it an End-themed skin as a reference to Plummet Studios, who is an active figure on the mod's Discord server.

Anteater

• Naming an Anteater "Peter" or "Peter the Anteater" will give it a skin in reference to the University of California, Irvine's school mascot.

Terrapin

• Naming a Terrapin "Koopa" or "Koopa Troopa" will give it the skin based off of the Koopa Troopa enemies in the Super Mario series.
  • Unlike most Name Tag Secrets, this secret can also be seen as a naturally occuring mutated Terrapin variant.

Giant Squid

• Naming a Giant Squid "Squid Games!!" will make it hum the music from Squid Game, a popular K-Drama show on Netflix.
  • Giant Squids will also hum this music if the Super Secret Settings are enabled.

Underminer

• Naming an Underminer "Herobrine" will force its texture to be the Herobrine variant.
  • Unlike most Name Tag Secrets, this secret can also be seen as a naturally occuring Underminer variant.
  • During October 31st (Halloween), April 1st (April Fools day), or if the Super Secret Settings are enabled, all Underminer textures will be forced to this variant.
