Jerboas are passive mobs that spawn in Desert biomes during night.
Behavior[]
Jerboas are nocturnal and will sleep during the day but start moving during the night.
Jerboas will walk around by doing small hops.
Jerboas can be attacked by Rattlesnakes, Foxes and Cats if they spot them.
Seed Begging[]
Jerboas can be fed Seeds and will even beg and follow nearby players holding some.
If the player does feed a Jerboa some Seeds, then the Jerboa will reward its feeder by giving them the Fleet-Footed effect.
Breeding[]
Jerboas can be bred with Maggots, Crimson Mosquito Larvae or Leafcutter Ant Pupae.
Feeding two Jerboa some Maggots, Crimson Mosquito Larvae or Leafcutter Ant Pupae causes them to enter love mode and eventually one of the Jerboas will spawn a baby Jerboa.

| "Jerboas are small nocturnal mammals that can only be found in Desert biomes during night. These small little creatures have a habit of sleeping during the day and bouncing around at night with their very long back legs. Due to their small size, many creatures, including Rattlesnakes, Foxes and Cats will attempt to hunt Jerboas. Despite their shy nature, Jerboas will beg for Seeds. If given a few, they will reward one with the Fleet-Footed effect, which grants a speed boost when running and jumping at the same time. Jerboas can be bred with Maggots or any small insect. A Jerboa fed with Seeds or Maggots will not disappear." |
