Farseers are hostile mobs that can be found either inside or right outside the World Border in any dimension.
Due to how far they away they live, the only way to reach them is by using a Shattered Dimensional Carver multiple times in one direction.
Behavior[]
Farseers are aggressive and will attack using the following methods:
- They will often swing their many arms to try and touch the player, if they do then the player will take heavy damage.
- Sometimes they will shoot a beam out of their eye, if this beam touches the player then they die instantly.
- Farseers will tear open portals, similar to the Void Worm and use the portal to easily reach players they cannot get to normally.
- They are also capable of firing glitching static ranged ball attacks, spitting them out of their mouths at the player, this attack can take heavy damage.
All Farseer attacks will ignore armor and enchantments.

Tips[]
- Players can takes advantage of the fact that the coordinates ratio of the Nether to the Overworld is 1:8. It means that players can move eight million blocks away from the current Overworld coordinates with one Shattered Dimensional Carver use.
- The location may be near lava, on top of lava or in blocks. Therefore, prepare a pickaxe and some Fire Resistance Potions before entering the carver portal for safety.

- It isn't actually considered a chief mob due to the fact they spawn naturally and they can sometimes be found in groups.

"The Farseer is a being that is from beyond dimension, living in universes orthogonal to our own. They can only cross over from their incomprehensible homeworlds at the very borders of the world, which leads to encounters with these beasts being exceedingly rare. However, this does not mean that they are impossible to find. With some dedication, one can create a Shattered Dimensional Carver by placing a Dimensional Carver into a Capsid. Unlike the normal variant of this tool, the shattered carver will create a portal that leads one million blocks in any direction. Simply using this tool multiple times in the same direction could lead to being within range of the Farseer. When prey is near the world border, the Farseer has a chance to tear open a portal and appear right alongside it, quickly surprising it. If a Farseer is encountered, it will be undoubtedly extremely hostile. They will attempt to dissolve any opponent into pure static using their quick claws or a devastating beam fired from the eye. If these attacks are not dodged or outflanked, the Farseer is very likely to succeed - its attacks pierce straight through armor and enchantments alike. When slain, a Farseer can drop one of its many arms. These, along with some Obsidian and a Nether Star, can be used to craft a Transmutation Table. Using the same magic that Farseer's use to transform matter into nothing, this table allows one to transmute entire stacks of items into different items. When opened, this table has a slot that can be filled with any stackable item. Once this is done, three possibilities will appear, which can be selected to transform the entire stack of items into the selected item, for a cost of Experience. When one item is transmuted into another, there is a slight chance that future transmutation abilities will be the former item, which increases and decreases based off how often that item is transmuted, and how often its selected, respectively. The Transmutation Table may begin with only simple, natural items to change the form of items into, but it can quickly be filled with other kinds of resources. If destroyed, the Transmutation Table will lose all of its prior knowledge of items, and only a Nether Star will remain, followed by a violent explosion." |
