Endergrades are passive mobs that spawn in End Highlands and End Midlands.
Behavior[]
Endergrades have the ability to fly upwards at a slow pace.
Endergrades will eat any Chorus Flowers they come across.
Endergrades are often targeted by Enderiophages.
Taming[]
Endergrades can be tamed by equipping a Saddle on one.
Tamed Endergrades can be ridden, however, they can only be controlled if the rider is holding a Chorus Fruit on a Stick in their offhand.
Tamed Endergrades are controlled in a similar manner to Pigs and Striders.
Breeding[]
Endergrades can be bred with Chorus Fruit.
Feeding two Endergrades some Chorus Fruit causes them to enter love mode and eventually one of the Endergrades will spawn a baby Endergrade.
Trivia[]
- Endergrades are based off a real-life microscopic animal known as a Tardigrade (Water Bear), which can survive in extreme conditions, including space.
- The old Endergrades used to have an endstone texture with some purple grass on top of the Endergrade.

"The Endergrade is the long lost cousin of the microscopic Tardigrade, or Moss Piglet. These creatures must have been transported to the End dimension many millennia ago, as they have become gigantic due to their lack of predators in their home dimension. Here they can be found in Chorus Forests, gently floating through the air and eating the plentiful Chorus Fruit. Like Overworld Pigs, Endergrades can be saddled and subsequently ridden. However, one can only control a ridden Endergrade if they are holding a Chorus Fruit on a Stick. Endergrades can be bred with Chorus Fruit, which can also be used to lure them down from the heights that they often live at. They can be useful for evading Shulker attacks and reaching distant heights, even though they are a very slow mount." |
