Cosmic Cod

(Not to be confused with Cosmic Cod (mob))

Cosmic Cod are consumable items obtained from killing the mob equivalent of Cosmic Cod.

Obtaining[]

Cosmic Cod may drop the item equivalent of Cosmic Cod upon death.

Cosmic Cod can also be obtained by placing Raw Cod in a Capsid.

Usage[]

Consuming[]

When consumed, Cosmic Cod restores 6 hunger points and 3 saturation.

It will also have a 15% chance to grant the consumer the Ender Flu status effect for 10 minutes upon consumption.

Taming[]

Cosmic Cod can be used to tame Cosmaws.

Breeding[]

Cosmic Cod can also be used to breed Cosmaws although this has can only be done if the Cosmaw is tamed first.

Strangely, this item was added before the Cosmic Cod (mob) was. It was added in Version 1.13.0, nine updates before Version 1.16.0 which was when the mob equivalent was added.
