Caiman Eggs are non-solid blocks that are laid by Caimans.
Obtaining[]
Caiman Eggs can appear once two Caimans have bred by being fed Raw Catfish.
Caiman Eggs will not drop themselves if broken unless Silk Touch is used.
Usage[]
Caiman Eggs can be placed as a multi-egg block with up to four eggs in it.
Caiman Eggs will hatch after roughly 10 minutes. They can only hatch while placed on Sand, Stone, Dirt, Gravel, Terracotta, or Mud[1]. After hatching 1-4 Caimans will spawn depending on the amount of eggs.
If the Caimans are spawned then they will imprint on the nearest entity. If this entity is the player then the Caimans will be tamed.
If trampled, Caiman Eggs will crack. Caiman Eggs in a multi-egg block are trampled one at a time until no eggs remain.
