Bunfungus are rare neutral mobs that spawn rarely in Mushroom Fields or if a Rabbit is fed Mungal Spores.
Behavior[]
Bunfungus will fight back if the player attacks one and will attack by using the Mushroom on their head to headbutt their target. Sometimes their attacks deal large knockback.
Bunfungus will sleep during the day, but at night they will wake up and begin hunting any monsters they come across.
Bunfungus can leap great distances.
Pacifying[]
Bunfungus can be pacified if a player feeds one a Carrot which will make Bunfungus completely passive towards whoever fed it.
Bunfungus that have been fed a Carrot will be healed and also gain Regeneration and Strength for 50 seconds.

"Bunfungus are gigantic, mutated rabbits that can be found very rarely in the Mushroom biome. They cannot be bred and must be created by feeding a Rabbit several Mungal Spores, which are occasionally dropped by Mungi. These gigantic lagomorphs are the natural defense system of the Mushroom biome, and can be seen attacking any monster in their sight. They are neutral towards players unless given a Carrot, afterwards they will become completely. Carrots also grant them Regeneration and Strength for a while. These lazy Rabbits can often be found sleeping away the day, and looking for monsters to attack at night. Despite their ungainly appearance, they can hop around after their target rather quickly and deal great amounts of damage over large areas." |
